Most people spend weeks on a sales page.

Tweaking words. Second-guessing headlines. Rewriting the same paragraph eleven times. Then launching it exhausted and wondering why the conversion rate does not reflect the effort.

The problem is not the writing. It is not having a structure to follow.

A sales page is not a creative exercise. It is a sequence. The same sequence that has worked for decades because it mirrors exactly how a human being moves from unaware to ready to buy.

Once you know the sequence, you can write a converting sales page in under an hour. Every time.

Here it is.

THE 8 PART SALES PAGE SEQUENCE

PART 1: THE HEADLINE (5 minutes)
One sentence. The specific outcome your buyer gets and who it is for. Nothing else.

Not "introducing my new course." Not "welcome to the future of X." The outcome. "How to write a week of content in 45 minutes using AI, even if you have never used AI before."

Specific. Outcome-focused. For someone specific.

PART 2: THE PAIN (10 minutes)
Three short paragraphs that describe the reader's current situation so accurately they feel like you wrote it about them personally.

What are they doing right now that is not working? What have they tried? What does the frustration actually feel like day to day? The more specific and honest this section is, the more trust you build before you have asked for a single penny.

PART 3: THE AGITATION (5 minutes)
One paragraph that names the cost of staying stuck. Not in a manipulative way. In a honest, this is what happens if nothing changes way.

Time passing. Opportunities missed. The gap between where they are and where they want to be getting wider. Say it plainly.

PART 4: THE INTRODUCTION (3 minutes)
One sentence introducing your product. Just the name and one line on what it is.

"This is why I built [PRODUCT NAME]. It is a [FORMAT] that [OUTCOME] in [TIMEFRAME]."

Do not over explain yet. The reader is not ready for details. They are still deciding if you understand them.

PART 5: THE MECHANISM (10 minutes)
Explain how it works. Not what is in it. How it works.

The mechanism is the unique process or approach that makes your product different from everything else they have tried. It is the answer to "why will this work when other things have not?"

Keep it simple. Three to five sentences maximum.

PART 6: WHAT IS INSIDE (5 minutes)
Now list what they get. Keep this tight. Five to eight bullet points. Each one should describe a benefit, not a feature.

Not "module 3 covers email marketing." Instead: "The exact email sequence that turns new subscribers into buyers within 7 days."

PART 7: THE PRICE ANCHOR (5 minutes)
State the price. Then immediately contextualise it.

Not with fake urgency. With honest comparison. What would it cost them to figure this out on their own in time, mistakes, and wasted money? What is one result from this product worth to them?

$37 to skip six months of trial and error is not an expense. It is the cheapest decision they will make this year.

PART 8: THE CTA (2 minutes)
One button. One action. No alternatives.

"Get instant access" or "Start today" or "Join now." Short. Direct. No pressure. No countdown timer. Just clarity.

THE PROMPT THAT WRITES IT FOR YOU

Once you understand the sequence, use this prompt to draft your entire sales page in one ChatGPT session.

You are an expert direct response copywriter who specialises in writing high-converting sales pages for digital products and online services. You follow a proven 8-part structure: headline, pain, agitation, introduction, mechanism, what is inside, price anchor, and CTA.

Write a complete sales page for my product using this structure.

My product is: [NAME AND ONE SENTENCE DESCRIPTION]
My target customer is: [DESCRIBE THEM SPECIFICALLY]
Their biggest problem is: [THE PAIN YOU SOLVE]
My product solves it by: [YOUR MECHANISM IN ONE SENTENCE]
What is included: [LIST YOUR MAIN COMPONENTS]
The price is: [YOUR PRICE]
The outcome they get: [SPECIFIC RESULT]

Write each section in order. Use short paragraphs. Write in a direct, human tone with no corporate language or filler. Every sentence should earn its place. When you are done, tell me which section is weakest and how to strengthen it.

Run that prompt today. Paste in your product details and let it build the first draft.

Then spend 20 minutes editing it into your voice and you have a sales page that is better than most people spend weeks writing.

Done beats perfect. A live sales page converts. A perfect draft in a Google Doc earns nothing.

Reply and tell me what you are selling. I will tell you what your headline should be.

Stop overthinking it. Write the page.
